Advanced Placement and College Credit Classes

Los Angeles County High School for the Arts offers the following Advanced Placement classes:

AP Calculus AB/BC
AP American Government
AP U.S. History
AP English 11 & 12

At the end of the year, all students in these classes are required to take the Advanced Placement Exam in that subject area.

California State University Los Angeles offers college-credit for a number of Arts High academic and arts classes. There is no cost to the students. Students can confer with their counselors to determine which of their classes are eligible for college credits.
