11.11.2008 Arts High Student John Egizi, seen here with jazz artist John Pattituci, will be playing at the Catalina Jazz Club on Tuesday, November 11. He has been praised as an "enthralling" performer who "redenfines the role of his chosen instrument," and has played along side jazz legends such as Bobby Watson and Lisa Henry.
10.2008 Current Arts High Student Dylan Bocanegra is recognized for his talent in an article in The Tolucan Times.
10.2008 Arts High Alumn Gretchen Parlato recieved great praise in an Australian newspaper article, being labelled "Frank Sinatra's heir apparent." Ms. Parlato recently taught a master class to the Vocal Jazz Ensemble on October 23rd.
9.24.08 Theatre teacher Jeremy Guskin appeared as a guest artist on the TV show Til Death.
9.15.08 Saxaphonist Levon Henry traveled to Bochum and Essen, Germany to perform with New Orleans patriarch Allen Toussaint and Rock/R&B/Hiphop artist Meshell Ndegeocello at part two of the Ruhr Triennale Festival.
9.9.2008 Arts High dancers Genna Moroni, Joshua M. Rodriguez, Jacob Robleto, Chris Kaiser, Holly Padeo, and Elizabeth Alvarez-Mize performed three duets at a special benefit for the City of Hope at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
9.9.2008 Vocalist Lauren Desberg was selected as one of the eight singers from the U.S. and Canada to perform at the 2008 Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Vocal Jazz Ensemble, one of the most prestigious high school jazz groups in the country.

8.2009 Arts High Theatre Students have been invited to perform at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland. To help raise funds to send out actors for Arts High’s first international performance, a Preview Performance/Fundraiser of Runways is being held on November 16, 2008 at 4:00pm at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood.
