As our school enters this year, our 25th anniversary, we are determined to continue to strengthen our communication and decision-making structures so that all voices, concerns, and suggestions are heard. How do we continue to develop a stable learning community with strong communication and relationships in order to increase student engagement and achievement?
With this guiding question as our frame, I would like to share our school-wide goals for the year:
Goal #1: We will continue to develop our professional culture that collaboratively examines teaching, learning, and assessment practices—this includes data and lookingat student work.
Goal #2: We will continue to focus on developing and strengthening our student support structures.
I look forward to continuing to know each member of our school community and I want each of you to know that you have my deepest commitment to serve this school with passion, commitment, and integrity.
